She had sat and stared blankly; lost in thought. The cold had caught back up to her. She felt the rough of the pavement and her eyes showed her distant stars. She was reminded that she had snuck out and was now sitting on her driveway with her childhood friend — the boy she liked.
“So?” He said, waiting for an answer.
A few moments ago, she had relived a part of her past. Contradictions live side by side — hope and loss. As all would know, it’s the typical embodiment of any one’s life. Still, it caused her pain.
“I admit, I like the thought of myself in love with a man that I feel equally loves me back, but I don’t think love is for everyone — It just doesn’t ‘find’ everyone… You know?”
